Rosita Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil is a wild and raw cod liver oil extracted from the fresh livers of wild caught codfish. Totally unprocessed and unrefined, it is the freshest, rawest and most authentic cod liver oil available.
It is rich in long-chain Omega 3s EPA/DHA, vitamins A & D and has a complete range of raw omega fats including Omega 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 11 fats.
Small traditional open boats are used to harvest the codfish, a sustainable and environmentally friendly method.
Quality and potency third party tested by a range of Universities and European Institutes including Stirling University.
All Rosita products are sent with an ice pack.

Please note: This is fresh and raw cod liver oil and must be refrigerated before opening to ensure maximum freshness. One bottle is approximately a one month supply, depending on dosage. (1 tsp = 1 month, 1/2 tsp = 2 months)
Shipping: Rosita Real Foods™ EVCLO is specially prepared to withstand temperatures through shipment for periods of more than a full month.
The bottles are flushed with nitrogen to avoid oxidation, and do not need cold packs or ice during shipping however we add an ice pack as an extra precaution.
Before opening the bottle please ensure it has been cooled in the fridge to a temperature of 4°C.
Storage: For long time storage you can keep the unopened bottles in the fridge for up to one year at temperature 4°C.
They can also be kept in the freezer for up to 3 years at a temperature of -19°C.
The oil is best kept in dark storage.
Once opened you should consume within 3 months. The oil may become thick and cloudy when refrigerated or frozen so gently shake before use.

Shelf-life of unopened bottles at a temperature of 0-4 °C is 12 months.
For storage at -19 °C the shelf-life is 2-3 times longer.
Shelf-life after the bottles are opened at 0-4 °C is 2-3 months.
Testing has shown that vitamins and other substances found in Rosita Real Foods™ EVCLO are not affected by freezing and remain completely intact.
In summary, the oil must be kept dark and cold.
Caution: Consult with your physician before using doses substantially higher than recommended, or taking this product if you are pregnant or lactating, diabetic, allergic to fish or iodine, using blood thinners, anticipate surgery, have a diagnosed cardiovascular condition, bleeding or immune system disorder.

If you or your child have never consumed fish or fish oil, or if you suspect a food allergy, consult your doctor prior to using a fish body oil/fish liver oil product. As an extra precaution you could also rub a small amount of Cod Liver Oil into a small area on the skin, such as the lower leg.
